On September 8 via Zoom, IVCA presents “How To Be Authentic at Work, Especially in Uncertain Times“

We know that when people are showing up to work in their authentic selves, they are more productive, more successful, more resilient, more likely to stay and invest in the organization, and more likely to inspire confidence and trust in people around them.

Research has also demonstrated that workplaces today are difficult environments for people to navigate and create these authentic selves. It’s not always easy to identify what aspects of yourself to merge into an authentic workplace self in order to be yourself and to give yourself the best opportunities to maximize your talents and aspirations. This interactive session will cover the research in this area and articulate practical strategies for authenticity that truly works for people in workplaces.

In an effort to develop a common language for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in our industry, IVCA will be offering an educational event per quarter through 2022.  The event topics can be standalone but are intended to build on the prior content.  Our hope is that every IVCA member firm can send a few from their team so that we can build a network of people with a shared understanding of HOW we can make our industry more diverse.
