Meet the 2025 IVCA Scholars
July 9, 2025
IVCA is proud to introduce the 2025 cohort of the IVCA Scholar Program, an initiative designed to build a more inclusive and representative private equity and venture capital industry. Supported by the IVCA Foundation, this program provides undergraduate students with hands-on experience, professional development, and invaluable networking opportunities.
This summer, 20 students from universities across Illinois and beyond have been placed at top-tier venture capital and private equity firms in the Chicago area. Over the course of 10 weeks, these scholars will gain real-world exposure to the industry and connect with leaders across the investment ecosystem.
The IVCA Scholar Program is more than an internship, it’s a launchpad for future leaders. After a deep dive into the industry, each scholar receives a $10,000 scholarship upon successful completion of the program.
To be eligible, students must either attend a college or university in Illinois or be permanent residents of the state. This requirement reflects IVCA’s mission to promote economic growth and talent development within Illinois by building a strong, diverse pipeline of future professionals.
Our sincere thanks to the IVCA member firms who generously contributed their expertise during the onboarding education sessions. Their support plays a vital role in preparing our scholars for success. Special thanks to:
